With all the benefits of Halon and none of its environmental disadvantages, inert gas family is the solution of choice where the call is for a clean fire suppression agent that's non-toxic, non-corrosive, odourless and leaves no residue.

One of the crucial features of inert gas is that, in environmental terms, it brings nothing new - and thus potentially damaging - to the atmosphere. Most of the gaseous systems comprise a mixture of two or three gases which occur naturally, Argon co2, and Nitrogen. What's more, because the blended component gases have a density similar to that of air, the mixture is able to retain its concentration in the risk area for far longer than Halon.
